Rocio A. Acosta

After completing my formal education in Tijuana, Mexico (K - 12), I attended Southwester Community College in Chula Vista, Ca where i completed their 2-year Associate Degreee in Architecture curriculum before transfering to Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

While at RPI, along with my B.Arch I followed a dual-degree program in Philosophy.

Architecture is the something I have wanted to do since I was 8 years old, and I have worked the last 30 years to make that happen. But I have a very wide range of interests in art and design -- I paint, in both oils and acrylics, and I have designed and built several pieces of furniture and light fixtures in the last couple of years for my own home... and I am currently working on opening my own etsy store to sell some of my custom light fixtures; link to that will be availanble here soon. 

I also enjoy writing (I have had several poems published), traveling, photography and sports.
